Pigeon Point Lighthouse Dance Video!
Join us for a fun dance video shoot at the lighthouse — and help raise money for CA State Parks!
Meet us at 10:00 AM as we practice and film a short routine that CA State Parks will submit to the 2025 U.S. Lighthouse Society Dance Off. Winning entries earn cash prizes to support the lighthouse!
We’ll be adapting the American Kids choreography to one of the contest’s copyright-free music tracks. You can [learn the dance here] and [practice with the original American Kids music here]. We’ll share more details soon about how we’ll stage it on-site.
We’ll also film our group dancing to Half Moon Bay by Train at this gorgeous location. [Watch the demo here] — the choreography is by our own Hilary Stamper!
After filming, feel free to stick around for some casual dancing at the lighthouse. We expect to wrap up around noon.
